S52 engine. the best trans/driveshaft combo for it?

trying to decide what would be the overall better trans and driveshaft to go with it. the engine would come with a ZF trans if i get it that way, so if i get it that way what driveshaft would i need? or i can get the engine alone, and get a trans seperate, and if so what way to go for trans/driveshaft? i have an auto now, so my original trans/driveshaft is out of the question.

I really don't know what you're talking about. But Im swapping in a 97 m3 motor and trans and Zionsville said a e30 m3 drive shaft will bolt right up.
