    E38 535i mounts

    i have solid mounts on my conversion, but for legal issues, i require rubber ones.... sigh

    I know e38 535i mounts are the way to go, but im just confirming it before i buy them from the other side of the world.

      when installing also put the stud in the slotted hole, and sqare nub in round hole

            Ages ago someone posted that all the different mounts people are using have different heights, as in some will raise the motor slightly compared to others.
            I want to raise my motor, its too low so I was trying to find out the height if the mounts, lie the distance between where they sit on the subframe to where they meet the E36 arms,

            But all good, will check with my mate with a 6er and compare to what i have now.

              you can always just space it, but doing so throws off the d-shaft a bit

                Yeah sure, dont want to raise it too much but as you can see in this pic



                Car is not stupid low and my pan is 60mm off the ground :O

                The 535i/635i mounts are approx 60mm high which is the same as what I have now so they wont change the height.
