Hose for E36 318ti radiator w/ M50TU

Ok so I cut up a stock hose for the passenger side of the radiator and am pretty happy with how it fits (little tight over the rad but whatever). Drivers side is killing me. I ordered that Dayco part 71901 and its about 1/8" to 1/4" too large of diameter. Great.

So, what the heck are people running?!

I'm using a cut down M50 E36 on my drivers side.

Ah E36 M50, hrm. I cut down an E34 M50 and it didn't work too well. Ok, I am game.

I used an E34 M50 hose from Napa and cut it down, fits just fine.
