413 red label DME question

How can you tell if the red label 413 DME had EWS or not? Actually a better question is how can you tell what production date the DME is from?

Unfortunately it doesn't that is why i'm a lil stuck

The red label ECU's *should* be non-ews...there's a few 413 silver label ecu's that have ews and well...some that don't.

Yup. A few did. It's kind of a pain without a vin.

I mean, the best way to find out is...install it and see what happens! Are there any discernible markings on the ecu?

I've never come across a red label EWS ECU.

If you got a TRM chip it doesn't matter which ECU you have or if it has EWS or not. It will run.
