Stock trans brace?

My friend has been using a stock trans brace on his getrag 260 M50, stock driveshaft, with no problem. I'm doing my swap this weekend and im sure im gonna keep the stock trans brace, but what's the problem in doing this? I can't really find a thread about it

It works until one of your tranny mounts blows out from being stretched out which isn't very long.

Ahh nevermind, it was cut down lower on one side and then raised on the other side to accommodate the rotation..which is exactly what i'm gonna do.
