Got my M50tu dyno'd for a baseline before going turbo

Hey guys, got my car dyno'd today. Just wanted to get a baseline before I start collecting and assembling my turbo kit. Car is an 87 325is, with an M50tu swap. Has stock headers with an unknown aftermarket exhaust. Might have a chip (never bothered to check), and a wonderful hot air intake. Put down 177whp and 170ftlbs. Pretty much bone stock. Have a low quality dyno video that can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg5pE..._order&list=UL

(The whining in the vid is a bad alternator bearing)

Yeah its definitely more of a torque line lol, and there will be a build thread, just started the planning for piecing together the kit and what I'm going to do for engine management and stuff like that. Shooting for around 300whp on about 8-10psi.

Looks like a healthy engine. I have an almost complete kit for sale if your interested. You would need a turbo, intercooler, oil drain/feed lines.

if she goes for that, astroglide up your pole, have her lay on her stomach and slip it in slowly and bury it to your balls and leave it there until she relaxes. once she is used to it slam that ass like a screen door.

From what I have read, the M50tu is rated at around 190 to the crank, so I was surprised when it put down 177whp as well. And Good and Tight, I start my new job next monday at a BMW Dealer, so give me a couple weeks and I will take that kit off your hands for sure.

Thanks guys, I go to school for BMW tech, so we need a sort of paid internship and I landed one at one of the nicest dealers in the region so Im pumped. Basically shadow a master tech and then get my own bay. Anyways, for when I go turbo, I decided Im going to build my motor up too. Pretty excited for things to get underway soon.
