fuse box power

Just finishing up getting the m50 ready to start. what do you guys do with the wire that powers the fuse box on the e36?

ive read some people cut it off, some connect it to the starter and some connect to the fusebox and get rid of the e30 power wire.

i think the easiest would to to just connect it to the starter. just want to confirm that this would be ok? Also curious about how you would hook it into the fusebox for those who have done it.

I just connected mine to my starter, Just in case.

I removed mine from the harness completely no reason to keep it it's just unneeded bulk especially if you plan on using m3 harness covers.
