IT RUNS!......I had an idea of what it was as soon as I started looking at diagrams. I had one of the main power wires , with the eye on the end, attached to the negative battery terminal. It SHOULD have been getting power.

My new problem!! Is that it wont turn off!

Shutting off the key no longer stops my engine! I have to UN-hook the power wire for the main relays (the same wire I had installed wrong) AND turn the key off....for it to shut down.

My first though was that I should put that very same main power wire to a switched ignition power supply.......but the diagrams show it being hot all the time
    Babysteps I guess..........

yeah, mine was a simple mistake, as I'm sure most are. If I remember correctly, I had the fuel pump relay and main relay getting power from 2 sources. So when I shut it off, I still had power. My confusion and mistake came from the pin out chart I used. It said the new motor got O2 power and fuel pump power from the same wire. However, my old M10 got them from seperate sources, so I had 2 wires from my old connector that I thought needed power. So I spliced three wires together ect.......When the new harness supplies power to the fuel pump relay on its own, my bad. I know that explaination is probably hard to understand, so if you think your problem is similar PM me and I'll explain it better.

The actuall wiring of the connector is fairly straight forward. I sat and checked all the wiring diagrams from both cars and engines. I'n the end the pin out chart I got front R3V was right anyway

          good luck!

Wow! That sounds exactly like what I did... I thought it seemed a bit strange. I will have to check how I wired my adaptor tomorrow but pretty sure both the O2 and fuel pump are on the same wire.

Thanks for you help, hope this works!
