Was your vanos venting while the solenoid not engaged? I can't listen to the video right now with audio.Past Car : E30 S50 6 Speed 5 Lug 3.73

Sorry for the lack of explaination. Basically i have wired up a factory connector with switch to acutate the solenoid. Add ~80PSI of air pressure to the vanos. an acutate it. The distance between the upper tensioner and the cam sensor pickup. It should be at least 8.5mm.
