What DME??

Hey guys noob at it again. I bought my S50 (built in 9/95) with the original harness included. Problem is that it didn't come with a dme. I bought a red label 413 but I am not sure what I have to do abt ews. Should I buy a silver label 506 with an EWS delete chip or try to run the red label 413?

Run the 413 and get a chip for your engine. You already have the DME, so why not right?

Your red label 413 will work but it wont have the s50 mapping if its not from an m3.
You can just get a burned chip for it though.

So the ews will not get in the way of the red label 413? and what chip would you guys recommend?

No ews. Go with a TRM chip.

OK cool. Just so I understand... The ews is in the DME and now that the red label doesn't have it at all, it should be no problem now just get a chip with S50 mapping on it...
