    e30 fuel lines to m50

Can anyone help me figuring out where the lines go?
there are three of them, one was connected to my fuel filter mounted by my steering link, one is a longer one that goes down and to the back of my car up and around the tank
the other i think is my return fuel line, its about 6 inches longer the the one connected to my filter. any advice on this?
and do i need to use my charcoal canister from my e30 or the m50 one? being that it has the purge valve with connection.
    any help is appreciated. thanks

Heres a related question......do the rest of you guys actually hook up your vent hose to a canister??? Or to anything at all for that matter?
Mines just open, and I'm wondering if the "norm" is to actually use a canister, or plug it, or what?

24V M50, M3 cams, Turner Tune, full exhaust, ect....

Yep - that was the first thing smog checked when I did emissions.

I used the stock E30 canister and just turned around the mount. Easy, and simple - there is 0 performance benefit to bypassing it. Why not just run it if you have it?

Also, if you don't have the valve hooked up you're going to get a CEL light. Like he said, why not just run it.

BTW which way is that valve suppose to go? I noticed an arrow on top of it. Does that arrow go towards the engine or away?

I hope so, cause thats all I'm gonna do. Although I wonder how effective my 1984 canister really is after 27 years.....

Hooking it up will leave me with only 1 unused plug on my E36 harness though! :)

couldnt you just plug the purge valve from the other canister to the line for the e30 canister?
