I have a e34 automatic obd1 harness everything is complete except this one wire that doesnt have a connector. Any ideas? thanks!

it goes to your alt. on the small pin,

Hidden Diode

On E36 cars, at some point on the blue lead off the alternator and before the dash, BMW hides an inline diode I believe.

Just see if you need that or not for proper functioning of the alt indicator on the cluster.

May not be relevant, but worth mentioning. Its one of those things that shows up on the ETM if you pay attention, but don't notice when installing/stripping/revising car harnesses.
