Help Me, 24v Gods... (Wiring x20/c101)

This is what I have on both ends: connect them, please.

Josh tried helping me out and gave me his pin-out, which should have been exactly the same as mine, but it wasn't :-(.

This is what happens... My fuel pump doesn't turn on in "RUN", but it kicks in on "START" and only then... What did I do wrong? Help me out.

    anyone?

What does pin #6 on e30 side connect to?
Does Pin #11 have to connect to Pin #7? My starter turns the engine, so there is no immobilization. Harness and DME are from the same car with red label 413.

      I lied...

      your e30 #7 should connect to the E36 #21

      I'm pretty sure that e30 #6 connects to e36 #22

Check ETM again, but I'm pretty sure your harness pin numbers are the same as mine (on the e36 side)

btw, heres my pin out as well

I'm gonna go out and tinker with it a bit more. I hope someone actually pairs my plugs for me into an idiot-proof post. I hate wiring.

stop posting generic info... I don't have pins 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, nor 20, yet you're still posting. Thank you for trying to help, but you're only making it worse, by throwing info that isn't applicable to to my car.

Maybe you should tell us what engine you are using and what chassis you are connecting it to...that's why people are throwing out generic info.

Are you sure it's a problem with your x20/c101 wiring? Sounds like it could be the main or fuel pump relay acting up.

                this is what I used - 87 325ic to red 413

                pin color description S50 pin
                1 blue alternator 25
                2 green/yello oil level (static) 1
                3
                4 brown coolant temp 12
                5 brown/green oil pressure switch 23
                6 green/white fused power O2 22
7 green ignition coil use large 21
                8
                9
10 blue oil level (dynamic) 2
                11 white/green service lights reset 19
                12 grey CEL 8
                13 green/violet fuel pump 13
                14
                15
                16 white/black SRS (unused) 17
                17
                18 black/yellow starter 18
                19
                20

My speed sensor wire comes directly from the green plug on the speed to pin 42 on the ecu

EDIT - I need to confirm your pin #7....mine is green but I have it listed as the SI reset. Not that it matters, it's not used. Pins 2 and 10 are for your oil levels....so you may have the ever glowing oil lights?!

Look on e30tech for the diagrams, they even give you the wire colors. They're probably on here too.

                    aaaannnnnddddddd

pin 24 on the e36 goes to the red/yellow wire of the c104
pin 14 on the e36 goes to the black wire of the c104
pin 20 of the e36 goes to the wire on the back of the instrument cluster in the circuit board with the green covering that snaps onto the cluster. (or pin 42 on the ecu)

thanks, bud. I think the only difference between our cars will be the "Check Engine" wire. Everything else seems the same.

DME is not grounding out... where are all of the grounds on the ecu and on the block?
