did you buy the stainless ones like these?

i have just bought some from ebay and it looks to me like they're really gonna be a pita to fit.

im thinking of binning them and going with the standard obdII headers, do you have any pics of yours fitted?
              :)

                ^^ oh hell NO!

you gonna play hell bolting up an exhaust with those. (subframe/sway bar)
you want something with down pipes included like THIS:

flare flange or V-Band - good choices

Yeah I thought so. I haven't even test fit the engine yet and their a pita. Trouble is the header you showed aren't available here in the uk just the shitty short ones
Think I'll just get a set of standard headers and mod them
Thanks for the heads up :)

There are only a couple of options for us over here with right hand drives due to the fact we have to clear the steering linkage

Just thought i would revive this thread since it's about 3 years old now. Seems like ebay headers is still what most people go with for m5x swaps?
Any other recommendations out there? or any specific ebay seller to go with?

I went with the SpeedDaddy ones if I remember correctly and they needed some work.

Same basic massaging that they all need?
