    e30 M50 SWAP, motor mount?

i use e36 arms with e34 m50 engine mount but the engine does not fit correctly because the lift mount does not fit in the subframe , do i need to 5mm spacer on two mount?

can i do the swap with stock brake booster?

brief answer is - you need the e28 M5 mounts or the 535i motor mounts. The part number is 11811132793*. Give Steve at BluntTech a call and he will hook you up.

you can use the stock booster but you have to relocate it about 1/2" to the right (if looking at it from the front of the car - otherwise the mani will hit it.

Now go and read the swap thread. You definitly need it.

I've browse topics about 24v swap..... buts there's problems

i can get only engine mount from this car,, other wise very difficult
        e30 from 316 - 325
        e36 from 316 - 328
        e34 from 320 - 325
        e39 from 520 - 530

only this car That I can get part locally.

any one using the engine mount from this car?? e34 mount height good for the engine? any possible opinion??

You'll probably have to get it sent in from the US like the rest of us non-Americans.
Or you could also get it from Germany. My dad before he came to Australia used to get his parts from Germany when he used to live in Lebanon working as a mechanic

yes, if you want to use the stock booster you just need to drill 4 new holes roughly 1/2 inch to the right (towards driver side) and maybe trim the mani fins a little bit. or use IX booster, or 320i booster. all preference and availability.

just use the search feature.... its very helpful.

Another option is ATE Porsche 944 booster, needs to be modified the same as E21 but has a larger volume. The rod needs to be threaded all the way down and cut to length, but it is easier than E21 because the shaft is the same size as the E30 booster and uses the same threads. Can use the E30 clevice and lock nut.
