Running really rich and doesn't idle...

Help again, please. Car ran great for a while, but now is running rich and doesn't idle. When it does idle, it stays around 600rpm. I can't find any vacuum leaks, but that's what it feels like. Runs VERY rich, almost feels likes it's flooding.

Guide me in the direction of things I should be looking at. I will swap MAF tomorrow. My oxygen sensor is brand new.

i also notices burnt rubber smell on the way home... it went away. Car idles a little better now, but still only at 500-600rpm and still rich.

Everything that I can see is hooked up. I will scan codes tomorrow.

Let me know what codes you get if if this running rich problem has a fix I haven't thought of or throw money at parts already. Mine idles ok but is a very jerky ride. Either hard on the throttle or not at all, no happy cruising medium.

Unable to connect to the DME. BAUMtool scanner couldn't do it. Not sure why.

thought I'd post back for those, who care. My cams were misaligned just a tiny little bit. Had it all fixed a while ago.

My recent build with a rebuilt S50 was doing the same thing, its in the shop right now to try and sort it out, I'll mention the cam alignment to see if they can check it since they rebuilt the motor before the swap.

How much trouble is it for them to check and diagnose the cam alignment?

pull the valve cover, set to TDC and put the cam-lock tool on. If it sits flat, it's all good. If not, then vanos will have to come off and you'll have to realign everything

Is the fuel pressure correct? If it is too high it will lead to rich problems. Check to see if your fPR is clogged.

                          Maybe injector is stuck open?

What motor is it? Vanos? Check the actuator? Mine was super rich until i found out my vanos solenoid crapped out.
