You will probably get kicked off most tracks for decibel level on that set-up, and you will go deaf!

do yourself a HUGE favor. put a flex-pipe right after the Y. And weld some good stiff mounts on that. I mounted at the CSB, one at the rear subframe, and one all the way back where we welded tips on the muffler.

i woulda still put a nice expensive brand name muffler back there. That's gonna be retarded loud  AWESOME!

Is that because of the angles of the 24V engines and their headers?
Cuz the exhaust is the next thing I'll be doing on my car. PO made it and the main problem is that the middle sags way low and the damn thing can't be lifted probably because of the way its installed/welded. The headers angle points down too much so I guess a flex pipe could help?

                          flex pipe

in my experience the closest to the engine the more effective against rasp it'll be. If ur exhaust dangles or sags is because whoever made it did a terrible job mounting it. Actually, my ebay header downpipes are "shortened" i need to post a pic of this. They HUG my chasis its awesome. clears everything.
