    e28 535 Radiator w/ 24v?

I know this has probably been gone over, but after searching with various methods I'm still only puling up posts about engine mounts.

    Short story
    S50 going into a 1985 325e
It's a proven method with the m30 swaps from what I can tell. My question is, Has any one used the e28 535 radiator with the 24v swap?

I'd rather go this route and run a coolant expansion tank in the e30 M3 location than run an M42 radiator with the built in tank.

Bumping this question because I'm curious about this exact thing. I was at a shop today who had an e30 M3 with a supercharged S52 swap in progress. They said they were using the stock mechanical fan with an e28 535i radiator and it seemed to have a solid 1/2" or more of clearance. The motor was mounted with e28 m5 mounts on standard e36 arms. I was in a bit of a rush and did not have a chance to ask for more details than that, has anyone else attempted this setup? I have a friend who has a 535i I can ask to view under the hood but he's out of town for a couple of weeks and I'm hoping to get some info sooner than that.

A quick talk with a friend with a 535i informed me that the ports are different than an S52, guess it's back to the electric fan route
