    C101 and X20 Pins. Help!

Is there a way to remove any of the pins in these harness's without a BFH? Im about to do my wiring harness for my swap.

    Cheers!

Btw, I posted in general tech but was Lookin for more traffic.

Nevermind, I worked it out...alls good.

Were you able to remove the pins? Did you remove the pins from a connector and just re-terminate the M50 harness with the other connector?

I have found that some pins will pull right out with little effort once you unlock them. But others will never come out in one piece without a tool.

All I did was play with it long enough to push the tabs in with "metal hook tool". It took about 10-15 per pin but all i needed was 4 out...just enough to finnish off my adapters lack of 4 pins. I reflanged the pin tabs and put it in my c101. Worked perfectly but took a bit longer than expected. As long as it works.

hey, Dan. For under $4 I made this tool to remove pins:

Stop by your hardware store. I used a dremel to make the tip just a tiny bit thinner (scratched if anything) and it worked like magic.

              Used brass fittings.
