325E M50TU runs! Woo! How to wire check engine light?

    Hey guys check it out

First time on a public road with new motor!

Got her running this morning - my issue with the car not starting/fuel pump not priming/etc was in fact pin 56 not getting power because it was hooked into the IGN wire before where I cut the harness, so it was just laying in the harness. Tied it into the IGN junction up near the firewall and it's all good.

I want to wire an LED into the CEL. I believe the factory ECU pulses ground on Pin 8 - Grey wire, correct? So then in theory I could just wire an LED up with a ~470 ohm resistor and 12V, right?
