This is cool. Good to see you are tackling this project head-on and not afraid to get dirty. Props to you. Can't wait to see the finished product.
I been a grease monkey from working on cars , so I think Im pretty ready. I 'm just extremely excited and thank you for the support. I'll update everything just incase anyone 's interested on the swap . Keep checking back, I'll be here !

This is really helpful thank you !
For diff I was just thinking if the stock is alright?
Ac is already out of the car, it feels like an oven in there. . .

What diff is in your car already?
I currently have no A/C, but you can bet I will be installing A/C with the M50!
Might want to start a dedicated build thread, instead of continuing this intro thread.
I'm jealous of your engine hoist! Mine looks like it was salvaged from a German U-boat that had been underwater for 70 years! Ah, well, it works anyway... :)

When you go to put the S52 back in, use a load balancer and these mounting points.
Rear - Small metal bracket above the starter has a M10x1.5 Bolt hole in it. Thread a bolt through it then a washer and the chain.
Front - Bracket above the vanos.
Life will be much better. Also you can drop in your motor fully loaded minus intake (you can do it with the intake also) But without the intake you can hook up all the heater hoses that are underneath the intake way easier. And OBD1 is super easy to install.
Past Car : E30 S50 6 Speed 5 Lug 3.73
Current : Z3 S50 OBD2 (Smog Legal) 6 Speed BBS RN Dual Ear Diff

So Kingston suggest a great idea that I should continue on this thread on to the project forum since this IS the location strictly for questions and help (and not my updates and ramblings :( ) I will stop posting updates on here, instead I will post it on the new thread linked below. So if any of you are still interested and still want to support me
