Quick question about s52 motor and tranny....

Hey all I don't know much about e36's, but I'm picking one up in a couple days. Its a 325is with a 5 speed tranny.

Would the tranny in that car bolt up to a S52 without modification? Or would I need an m3 tranny, driveshaft, diff ?

It'll bolt up fine. Its not as strong as the m3 specific tranny, or the tranny from your e30 though.
