    clutch problems!

so im running a ZF320 5 speed with m20 flywheel an clutch and after driving my car for about a month my cluth is giving me problems.

history on clutch: it was in my m20 5 speed with no problem it was new when transfer to ZF it had no more that 5k on it.

the problem: first an second very strong but 3rd RPM'S just r3v but not alot of moving an also getting nasty smell of burned clutch!

can my obd1 m52 be to strong for the clutch that it killed it?
is that even possible help pls..thanks

did you bleed the clutch system after installing the M52?

Yes I did but I was thinking of bleeding it again, the clutch feel good an all is just that it feels wierd under hard acceleration and it starts smelling like burn clutch.

          what about 4th and 5th?

id think it would happen in all gears(especially from a stop in first) if it were a clutch problem.

The clutch is slipping. It's either toast or there is an issue with it releasing properly. There is a higher load in 3rd+ gear so yes it will slip there but not in lower gears.

What slave cylinder are you using? I can't remember if you had to run a diff one with the zf box?

change the slave cylinder? Mystery slave cylinders is NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!

did it work properly ever? usually if you can change gears without the transmission complaining and the clutch is slipping it is either too worn or slave is not dis-engaging all the way.

even OEM brand new slave and master cylinders of bmw are not that great, like to die for fun.
