Motor mount replacement

I have M20 mounts and fab'd arms.
Can I put the car on ramps and lift the motor by jacking up against the oil pan with a wooden block? I don't have anything to lift the engine.
Also, do any of you guys shield your passenger mount? Seems close to the headers. My mount is like this /__/ and the top threaded rod is bent a little.

Get a 2x4 and center it on the oil pan and jack away. it'll hold up.
