ps, if it's e32 and the master cylinder has "25" on it, that *should* be the right master, as for the booster, I'm not 100% as to verify I've seen it fo as either 740 or 750.Originally posted by Lof84 doors allow you to transport more whores.

The booster you want should be from an E30 325iX or an E32 735i/735iL. They are identical. This part was used on the 735 up until 3/90 production so you need to verify this if getting it from a junkyard. I used one off of a 735i matched up with a 25mm master cylinder from a 1989 535i.
I also enlarged the holes in the firewall as shown in the post above and didn't use the spacer tube between the booster and firewall. By doing this I was able to mount everything far enough back that I didn't need to use a remote brake fluid reservoir. However, as I discovered, the fluid reservoir from the 535i master cylinder will not clear the intake elbow. You will need the E30 325ix one that has the top corner angled off for clearance.
If you mount directly to the firewall without the spacer tube you WILL need to shorten the rod. I cut and re-threaded mine.sigpic

So if i dont use a spacer, i'll need to mod the rod? if i use a spacer i'll leave the rod alone and just use a 535i M/C and e30ix fluid reservoir? wat spacer is this that you mention? where would I get one? is it the sparcer already on the BB(e32)? I have a chance with a 78 320i BB.. would this be a better route and use my stock M/C. Thanks. The booster you want should be from an E30 325iX or an E32 735i/735iL. They are identical. That's the correct booster in your picture. Better than the 320 booster because it's a double chamber and provides more boost. The spacer is the piece between the booster and firewall. If you take that off and mount direct to the firewall like a few posts up you will need to shorten the rod to accommodate. I compared to my stock booster to get the length the same.
Check that master cylinder for a 25 stamped on it or research the part number. You might already have a 25mm. Even if it's not, that setup you have right there will work perfectly fine as is. A 25mm master cylinder just gives a more solid feel to the pedal.sigpic

ok thanks. so if i leave it alone i'll have have trouble clearing the intake boot, and if I take the spacer off, i'll need to mod the rod correct? The brake fluid reservoir won't clear and you will need to run a remote reservoir. Not the end of the world, just not as clean looking. Most folks use the reservoir from a BMW 2002. Do a search here for all the part numbers. You need the reservoir, hose, two plastic elbows, two rubber grommets, and you will need to fabricate some sort of bracket to mount to.
Correct.
Yes. Whether you remove the spacer tube or not, you need to reuse the original fork from your E30. The E32 one is too long.sigpic

Finally removed the M20
My slow but coming along project.. Tomorrow I clean engine bay. I couldn't disconnect D/S so I pulled it out wit everything "noobie" I search but couldn't find anything on how much to shave M20 flywheel.. I've read shave 3mm on e34 oil pan but that's all I've seen. Can anyone who's running M20 FW let me know what they shaved. e32 BB is done and I pick it up tomorrow, so I hope to have s52 in at some point next week or so. I need to test fit it so i can make custom Transmission bracket for G260. Thanks.

Do you guys think this is worth anything... Only 89K on it. I might store it for wifey's e30.
