If you have plans to track the car in any shape, I would also suggest a VAC motorsports oil pan baffle.

Depending what headers you use you will have some interesting challenges getting them to fit around the steering shaft.

Stick with OBD2 and dump the EWS on the stock 328 ecu.

        Ms41.0

        Hi

Does any 1 have the wiring diagram for the Siemens 41.0 Ecu. I am converting a 1990 318 RHD E30 & staying OBD2. I having difficulty figuring out how to wire the X20 to the C101. I have found pinouts for the bosch 413 Ecu. Would these pinouts be the same for the Siemens ECU?

All Help would be much appreciated. Realy want to hear the motor run :-(

        Kind Regards
        Zak

            Hi Burkey,
Finally I'm paying attention to your advice! Just wondering if I should do a crank scraper instead?

The car is a daily driver which will see a couple of track days per year. Anything else I should upgrade to avoid breaking something expensive?

              here ya go buddy

look for section 1210.17 in the glossary "engine control system MS41.1 (6 cylinder M52)", it covers the differences in the M3 harness as well if you're running an S52.

as far as a pinout for the x20, well, it's best to scour the ETM for your exact setup. never trust someone else's pinouts!
