    DME options? 402?

Will a 402 unit from a non-vanos m50 work for me? It seems everyone always uses the 413 or 506, but I'm not looking to run vanos. I have an entire 92 325i parts car I'm going to be harvesting from and was hoping i can save myself some headache and use this computer. The build thread for this will start when i pick the new e30 project up this weekend down in MD.

    Please let me know. gK

As a follow up, I am in the same situation. I understand that the non-vanos M50 will need a 402, or i think either a 403 or 405.

        My question is that I currently have a M50 vanos w/ a 413, and I'm swapping it out w/ a non-vanos M50. Can I use my same harness?

I have used a 405, and have a 402 as a back up. They seem identical in every way.

I believe the harness is actually different.
