    Shaved M20 Flywheel Dimensions (Thickness)

My machinist buddy is going to be shaving and resurfacing my single mass flywheel. This is for my M50NV swap.

He wanted to know the thickness dimensions it should be when its done. I did some searching but was unable to find this information.

Also to elaborate somewhat. My definition of a "shaved flywheel" is an M20 single mass flywheel that has had the back either shaved to the ridge, or made flush with the teeth.

If anyone has these dimensions, or perhaps has a shaved flywheel and a set of calipers laying around who could take these measurements it would be greatly appreciated.

My buddy can't balance the flywheel so I will have to take to a local Automotive Machine shop. Anyone care to weigh in on what they paid to have this kind of work done?

    Thanks guys!

I can't get you measurments because my shaved single mass m20 flywheel is in my car, but just have him shave the back side almost to the teeth (very close) but not flush.

I paid $70 to have my flywheel resurfaced and shaved. $30 for the resurfacing and $40 for the shaving.
