    Was not unplugged. Would no spark void the fuel pump from engaging?

      they usually go hand in hand, its the DME's way to disable the engine if its not happy with itself. Usually sensors hooked up wrong or not at all.

        Pull the fuel feed line. Its the line that goes to the front of the head. Fuel will pour out so have a rag ready.Put fuel line in a empty water bottle. Now clean any fuel spillage and go try to start it for a second.

        If fuel comes out then your pump is fine. Problem is in the injectors. Check to make sure ground connections for injectors are good. This is happened to me. Car was running parked it and stopped working. Check the ground and found it loose. Retighten it and fired right up.
