    Over rev help

    so i have a m50 vinos swap with 3.0 cams and over reved it today.. i have a hissing or maybe light scraping sound now and all compression is at 100 exept one by fire wall is at 60 .. what do i do and where to start??

          Bent valves would be my guess. No, there's not a master link on the timing chain. You need to pick up a Bently manual, maybe the '101 Performance Projects for you 3 Series BMW' book.

                        Some cars actually have a master link, so if I has worked on other cars besides BMW's I can understand why he would think that.

                        Get a Bentley for the E36 M3 and use that to pull your head. Also invest in the cam locking tool and the cam turning tool.
