All that's needed for M52 + S52 cams ?

What's all that I need for S52 cams to work on an M52 motor? I sourced my S52 cams but I couldn't find a definitive answer. Thanks




also, are these exhaust cams just way too scored to run as-is?

All you need are the cams and the timing tools. S52 cams are a direct swap into an M52 engine. There was a DIY video on how to do this back when I did it earlier this year but I can't track it down.

Same as changing the vanos except you swap the cams while the vanos is off. This gives a list of the recomended parts. I just did mine a few weeks ago, it was pretty simple.
