Ok, I know there are about a billion threads on tuning the 413 and sadly I have read them all. I am learning to tune ( for fun :) and wanting to know how every aspect of the E36 works) and I have been on the right path for a while I feel like. I have been using Tunerpro RT to load bins and create .xdf's and such so I can edit them but I cannot successfully burn a working chip with my Burn2 using and burn. I am using 27sf512 EEPROMS (electronically erasable 512kb) and trying to burn my tune onto them with no luck. I know since I am using 64kb bins I need to set the offset hex address of the chip to 8000 but it still will not work in my ECUs. I can verify the and whatnot so I know I am successfully burning them but they don't want to work with my ECUs (413's tried multiple reds and silver labels.) I am stumped and figured I'd ask the gurus if they could shed some light and get me going in the right direction :).

Ive been playing with NCS Expert and OBD2 stuff lately... it opens up a whole new world! lol But i havent done anything with OBD1 and writing chips -
