M52 head on M50 block?

alright i have an E39 at the shop with a bad block but good head. could we put the M52 head on a good M50 block and it still run alright or will there be a big notice in power loss?

pros and cons? any advice or anything.. we dont wanna buy it and put more money in it then its worth.

isn't the m52 from an e39 a TU so it has double vanos?

i was more worried about the power being different or noticeable i mean i kno it CAN be done but IIRC the M50 has lower compression, and was thinking the green top injectors would be better for the car instead of pink tops etc etc.

The heads are identical outside of the cams/springs/etc
