    s50 fuel cut......

Ok so i have had my s50 swap done in my 87 325is for a while ran good but i left my carbon canister off and during that time car ran fine. But then i was on the highway and i decided to stomp on it and it felt like my motor went from a m3 motor to a m10 lol. After that event i put the carbon canister on and nothing. So i bought a fuel filter thinking hey probably just a fuel filter nope no luck. So then i proceeded to buy a fuel pump and i thought it cured it for a day but came back. 2 things i havent tried yet is the relay and pre pump in the tank becuz its a 87. But i dont know if any of you guys have went down this road and oh forgot to mention that just driving it easy some times it cuts out thanks!

Have you checked your fuel pressure regulator or fuel filter?

It could be your Crank Position Sensor, does it have any codes.

does this happen when your low on gas? or at anytime if it happens when you're low on gas you might want to check on dents on your fuel tank. That can cause a fuel cut too thats what happend on my 87 m3.
