Unrelated but your ABS is wired kinda screwey and pin 3 in the CC regulator not a/c bump. pin 3 X20 on e34 should be the ABS power wire, large red/white stripe. Here's a break down on the E34:
Why won't my stomp test work?

The original post was about the stomp test not working, not the diagnostic port. Do you know how to pull the codes with the stomp test? You don't have to have the diagnostic port connected to use the stomp test to pull codes.
There is no place in this thread where the op is asking how to wire the diagnostic port, he is not sure if his car is wired right to do a stomp test. As far as I know if the DME can display a check engine light on the dash then it should be able to give you the codes with a stomp test.

I finally got the stomp test to work... intermittently. I know my wiring is correct even after another sitdown with the etms. Out of frustration, I stomped it really slow (W,T,F,U,broke!!!) and it started to flash. So I jumped out of my car to get the definitions to the codes out of my tool box. I then again tried the stomp test...AND IT DIDNT WORK!!! A deep breath and I stomped...for prolly close to half an hour. The tps must be shot and I have no tool to remove it. I stomped some more and it finally worked. Code 1221...O2 sensor.Comment
