    Coils??

    Are there any gains to be had from performance coils for the S50?
    i rebuilt the entire engine but dont feel right using the old coils, which i have no idea how long have they been there for...
    Any company besides BAVAUTO that makes a good coil for the engine or just get new OEM? MSD?
    Car is just going to be used at the track 12-14 times a year...

    Thanks

    New OEM Bosch's work good. I get em for like 280 a set IIRC

      I did some reading on bfc, some guys seem to think the coils ssold by fcpgroton are decent.

      There were some quality concerns in the past regarding their suspension pieces (which have been resolved) but never the electrical parts. They're warrantied as well.

        Here's a pretty good article where they did back to back dyno's on the Bav coils. They showed basically no gains, but have a read for yourself;
