    can I use all of a G260 shift linkage assembly with my G240? Just wonderin, thanks

      Nope, G240 link is 25mm longer.

          Use euro 320i linkage, its the euro model that had a 6cylinder and a g240

              If you're doing a 24v swap and using the getrag 240 than you need to use the shift linkage from the getrag 260 and a driveshaft from an e36 325i. I believe the e30 325i driveshaft will work also.

              As previously stated the 240 linkage is too long for the swap.
