    M50 engine mounts

    A friend of mine makes urethane bushings and mounts for Shelby Omni's. Please post here so I can show him this and see if he's intrested in making these for anyone intrested in doing this swap. Or if your want to install these in place of the rubber ones.
    I have yet to find anyone that makes these mounts in urethane. If you know where please post here.

                                      Great this is good news. The more people he sees want them the better....of course.

                                      Now I'm having a bit of a problem finding the right side engine mount. I have the left side which is part # 11811175735. i'll hit up the dealer on Monday for the right side but I want to make sure its the right mount.
                                      John needs them so he can design the new ones. The other thing he needs is some good pictures of the mounts on the car with the engine installed. I would give him the pictures but my engine is still on the stand.
                                      If any of you could supply a few good pictures of your mounts on the car that would be great. Thanks.

                                                  Not an aussie but this cracker is interested. I dont drive the car anyway so vribratey mounts dont bother me, plus I need to drop the engine and subframe soon anyway.

                                                          I'm sure they will be around the price of other urethane mounts. Their very simple mounts so I don't see them being very expensive. But I will update this as soon as I meet with him again.
