    Engine stuttering. Stumped.....

Ok so it's 1992 M50NV in my E36. It's been stuttering during take off on occasion. It isn't always, but fairly often. It seems to be worse when running 91 octane. I tried E85 a few days ago and it seems better. I'm skeptical of the E85 though. I don't like using it personally. So any ideas on why it stutters? I put some injector cleaner through it a couple weeks ago, but I'm not sure if it really changed anything. Should I check my timing? Adjust the air fuel ratio?? I'm kinda stumped right now. Thanks in advance!

Test the resistance in the coils, replace fuel filter, check air filter, check for vacuum leaks and for god's sake please don't ever run e85 again.

I did the plugs about a week ago. Replaced with Bosch Platinum's. The air filter wasn't too bad when I checked it. I do need to check the fuel filter. That was going to be my first go at it on Wednesday. Have to wait for paycheck :( Vacuum leaks wasn't something I had thought of yet. I will check that tomorrow morning for sure. I don't plan on running the E85 again. I was really scared to even put any in. I didn't fill it thankfully. Only put a few gallons in. I've always run 91 in everything else I've owned. Unfortunately I don't have much option in my part of the country. We only get 85, E85, and 91...Thanks guys. I appreciate it

Ditch those Platinums. I've heard of many different brand of vehicles not running well with those.

I've ran a few sets of them in my e36 over the course of five years with no issues.

I've heard mixed comments about the Platinum's. I did notice that the MAF doesn't have the first screen on it just past the air filter. Somebody could have removed it for some reason...god knows why....I'm tinkering with it right now, tryin to figure it out.

Found the culprit. I even knew about it a couple weeks ago when I first started buying parts and such. Just totally spaced it until now. My intake bellows are cracked and torn to shit.....I hate when I have stupid moments like that lol.....
