735 master cyl, front brakes not bleeding

I'm tidying up the last little bits on the m50 swap car, and I ran into a bit of a problem. As I try to bleed the front brakes, barely anything comes out. I am using a bav auto pressure bleeder which has worked for years on many cars and never had a problem. The rear bled fine.

The brake pedal is almost solid when I try to push down on it, which makes me believe maybe the lines got mixed up somehow. I followed the same pattern (as to what lines went to what port on the master) as the e30 master...I didn't think it would be any different, unless I have to switch something...

    Thoughts?

To hard to contact me huh? lol

You're problem is the master-cylinder. If I remember correctly I had the same issue once before and it was because the master cylinder has a metal insert where the boots for the reservoir go. I believe when I had my remote setup on (using the 2002 remote setup) the metal insert (thin flap of metal) was blocking/restricting flow. Either that, or the tandem m/c is bad.

Did you bleed it at the master first?

Were the brakes working fine before you swapped the M50 in? How long ago? Are you doing this with the engine running?

Crack open the front bleeders and push the pedal, does anything happen? Even if the car is running? If there is water in the lines, the pedal can be really stiff. Also a frozen caliper or a foreign object in the line. A bad booster or no vacuum could make the pedal stiff too

Did you bench bleed the master before putting it together? Cycled the ABS to get air out?

you shouldnt have to bench bleed it..Ive been pressure bleeding many cars, and not once had to bench bleed!....its not a 71' dodge

For the record I've bleed the brakes on probably 100 cars. Not one have I ever used a pressure bleeder on.
