    413 dme no power?

I have been trying to find a solution to what seems to be a wiring issue that i have been having.

I have re wired the c101 to e36 m3 harness 3 if not 4 times. I was using akg and various wiring diagrams that others had made to try to wire it but no luck. so today, i pulled the intake manifold to check all the connectors under it and they checked out. Then i rewired the c101 to the harness with the help of wedophone's wiring etms. turn key and no fire. i still dont get fuel or spark.

    i have replaced the following:
    crank position sensor
    dme
    all 3 harness relays

I am now thinking that some how the dme (413 red stock chip) isnt getting power (no cel on with key in the one position). What is a good way to check if the dme has power?

ive been trying to get this to crank for some time now, cause i have not driven the car in a year. just needing some help

Can you hear the relays click over when you turn the key?

Check the fusible link in the trunk.

i dont hear the relays, one of my relays (fuel pump) doen not have any power to it at all.

only thing that happens is my starter will crank.

what fusible link do you speak of?

No power to realy at all? Meaing you can't even jump the fuel pump? If so, then you don't have shit wired up correctly. Either you've missed something on the harness or you've not got the power and grounds correct.

I think I know your problem. So the engine does crank over... Did you check for spark?

my car had these same problems. it is probably the e30's alarm system. there is a box under the steering wheel. take off that cover and it will be located where your left knee is if your sitting in the drivers seat. if that box goes bad it wont start, you can cut the wires on each side and wire them directly to bybass the security system.

are you referring to the relay in there?
