Early e30 swap

Hello! I'm looking for some infos for my future engine swap. I'd like to go with the m50 engine. I want some more informations about the "Vanos" system. Is it harder to swap then a non-Vanos? Is there specific things that are different from early e30 swap ?

I've seen some parts list but it's the latest generation of e30. Also, my 325e is automatic, so I want to do a manual conversion. Do I need e30 pedal kit or is there another option? Should I take a 325i transmission or the m50 one?

Vanos is no harder than non-vanos.

Spend a couple hours combing through the 24V section then PM me if you have any further questions.
