    Intake manifold squishing spider hose

Is anyone else experiencing this? When installing my manifold, I got the front on the studs all the way in, but the rear studs(closest to the firewall) don't go all the way down because it's squishing down on the spider hose(top valve to heater core). Opinions/insight welcome. Thanks.

You have to bend the heater core pipes down

I cut about a 1/2" off mine, it was moving to much to get a good bend on it, an really didn't want to have it break on me. Just use a nice wide hose clamp an make it tight. I have not had any leaks whatsoever .

I cut my heater lines off in the car and ran hose out from there.
