Wiring harness questions and help

Ok the title on my car says 1988 325 e which has the 2.7 in it, but inside the door it says 9/87 ? Which ETM from the wedophone link should I be looking at ? Also where in there do I find which component each pin is used for ? I have each pin /color labeled ! Just need help locating what they are for ! I am trying to send my harness off this week to get done . I am hoping to have my engine in the car tomorrow night ! Thanks for all the help guys.

Both are correct. A car built after 8/87 would be a 1988 model.

You will probably find that the intersection of the 87 and 88 wiring diagrams as cross referenced by what you find in the car will be what is needed.

can't find the schymatics anywhere ( what each pins is used for ) . It is driving me crazy

Well scroll through the WeDoPhones ETM. Look for C101 and C104. Every time you see these connections references trace the wires back in the diagram to what it tells you it goes to.

I would give you my pin-out to help get you started... but I have not fired mine up yet. So mine potentially could be borked. I will find out soon enough.
