    Auto to manual wiring harness

I have an e36 auto harness that im converting to manual, so i dont get the easy harness like the e34 guys.
I cut the wires, snipped the ones leading to splices, and pulled the rest through that go out to a harness connector.

My question is, do i just pull the wires out of the connectors? That would leave the top one in the picture with only 3 wires running to it, and theres only one going to the bottom. or do i snip the (top) connector completely? ps, all the wires leading left are what i pulled out of the auto computer.

Ive searched around and found very little info on this subject.

haha, i understand that and obviously thats what im in the process of doing, im just curious to know if the top harness connecter really only has 3 wires going to it.

Also, im curious to know how you did your battery, did you keep it up front?
