obd1 s52 swapped car, but I have a stray plug.

There's a 2 prong plug that is tape together with the round one that goes under the intake tube before the throttle body. I've been driving the car for a while and the plug has just been hanging there unplugged, I cant seem to find anything that I can plug it into. Any ideas anyone?

Pretty sure that's for the reverse light on the e36 chassis.

(mine hangs out disconnected as well)

i saw a post on bimmerforums dated 2007, and there was no solution to it neither, so i guess let it hang is the way to go! LOL

Maybe the air intake temp? Its on the bottom of the intake in the back.

Pull the wire sleeve to see the wire colors. Then check the Bentley to see what the wires register as and post what they are here. That's the only way to really know since these harnesses have multiple "2 plug" connectors like that. "Purge Valve, Air intake temp sensor, reverse light, cam solenoid" are all 2 plug connectors, so this thread is a guessing game without the wire colors.

I believe if you used an automatic trans harness you have an extra one, I canbe wrong though

If its bundled with the round MAF plug it's for evap purge.
