    944 booster diameter?

I have searched and I have not found a 100% accurate measurement of the 944 booster. Does anyone have one they can measure for me. Diameter, thickness, and a measurement from the mounting bolt to the outside edge would be nice.

I am thinking it might fit in my ls1 e28 swap

awesome, thanks guys. With that said the 2002 booster I had laying around DOES fit......hard to say if the MC will clear the exhaust manifold but it looks like it will be close.

I might be able to slot it and move it a little closer to the fender and give myself a bit more room. I would much rather use a vacuum booster than hydro or remote.

I would like the 944 more because it allows a bit more assist than the 2002 one correct? Also the 2002 ones is 35 years or more old...

          Just measured mine it's an ATE from a 944 Turbo - 9 -1/2" Diameter
Firewall bolts 3" square pattern just under 3" to the edge
          M/C side 2 bolts 3 5/8" to edge
          Thickness 3-7/8"
