Those are the Euro rep headers, not the raceland reps.

Well I'll probably have to take all that heat wrapping off in order to have someone manipulate these headers to fit properly, so maybe I can get an indication of what they are exactly then... either-way they need serious adjustment to fit without spacers.
Sorry I'm a lame ass and keep forgetting to post my emission scores...
I don't want to repeat this process again and don't want to buy "cheap" cats. Can someone recommend a GOOD set of Cats / Resonators for my setup? I need to order these asap.
P.S. - YES in the pic the O2 sensor isn't plugged in. Those were pics when the JUST finished the welding on the entire exhaust. But as of now it IS plugged in.
It'll probably be expensive, but I'll probably have someone professionally cut / weld up these headers to work.

OBD2 headers are where it's at.

IS there anyone here that ISNT convinced its my cats that are bad? I don't want to spend all this money if that is not the actual issue you know? Maybe I just need to drive / burn off more crud that has been collecting in there while we did the swap? Just a thought...

I'm guessing you're expected ot meet the restrictions of an original M3 and not that of the motor you swapped in? There's no way in hell cats with 130k mile's on em are going to be capable of getting you a pass.

When we did an m52 OBD1 swap in a 325is e30 with 150k miles on the cats it passed emissions no problem. Are you thinking this is because both engines were 6 cylinders? And now I'm going from the original 2ltr 4 cyl to a 3.2ltr 6 cyl and thus not passing?

I am thinking it may be software issue. I passed easily with turners chip with s50 and same mods. I think you may wanna try different software, and I forgot if you have new plugs.

Brand new NGK-Iridium plugs. Tuning from TRM. I'll call them tomorrow, but the car runs so smooth that I don't think its tuning. I suppose I can take it someone to have the cats tested... that is the next step I guess.

There are many ways to check an O2 using a voltmeter (preferably a scope). Also a laser temp gun helps for pre and post measurements.

I would ask for the most conservative tune possible for your S52. And start from there.

I'm pretty sure I have my 506 w/ a stock s50 tune, a full set of green tops, and my OBDI MAF in Tucson right now. It may run a bit lean, but not dangerously lean. Just a thought....

So finally posted ^ my emissions results. Maybe this will help determine what the issue is. I'm not really sure what causes each thing to spike, so any input would be great. Still think my cats are bad?
