    M50NV Exhaust Mock-up Choices

I plan on building the car to be a daily driver. Nothing is over the top. So I want performance but I am willing to sacrifice it for the sake of quieting the exhaust.
I am looking for feedback on the setups depicted below. I plan on running a Borla muffler(s). I need advice on resonators (Vibrant?) if that's the consensus of R3vlimited to run them.
Like I said... I want it to be throaty when I'm on it... but be civilized when I'm driving to work or just tooling along the freeway.
I live in Eugene, Oregon and cars older than 12 years no longer have to run Catalytic converters, in fact we don't even have a smog check or any sort of DEQ at the moment.

Let me know your opinions and reasons for voicing them. (Yes, I have read through the infamous Exhaust thread.)

Did you read the thread title?

OP, I would go with the 2nd one in green. That's the exact setup I'm building for mine currently, should come out just like this:

What's the benefits of 2 mufflers? Or does it just sound really cool? Cause I like really cool

To quiet the sound down more.

Have the green one now but this weekend will be switching to the blue one.

Can I ask for the reasoning behind this? Pro's/Cons?

Well the setup i have now was done rather poorly, i basically just found a good deal on a dual exhaust hence why i'm going with it.Another reason why people run dual is because it sits closer to the body, allowing more ground clearance.

Does anyone care to weigh in on the Pros/Cons on using a chambered muffler versus a straight through?

I imagine that the Borla (or any straight through) would be much louder than something that is chambered. Does any one run one of the Flowmaster Delta series? I know those are chambered.... Thoughts?

Chambered mufflers are just that, they help aid in volume control as well as rasp.

Chambered mufflers can actually be louder a lot of the time, but a lot of it has to do with your piping size. They don't have any sound deadening material in them, just a series of baffles and chambers, which depending on the design, can make it a lot louder.

The Borla Pro XS mufflers are supposed to be some of the quietest mufflers available, I've done tons of research online and it looks like what most people choose for quieting their system down.

Check out the video I posted above, I'm actually building the exact same system that's on that car.

                              Ebay headers - Y pipe - single 2.5" - Borla Pro XS - Single 2.5" - Vibrant
