I don't about that one. I remember there being an extra power wire or two, but it's been nearly 5 years since I did the wiring for my swap. I think on the E36, those wires would go to the fuse box, but the E30 doesn't have a spot for them. I think I used the starter wiring from the E30 harness.
I also cut out all the wires I didn't need and re-wrapped everything and used the E30 M3 firewall covers.
If they are both coming out of the wiring harness cover they will both go to the +12V lug on the starter. The smaller of the two was used in the E36 frame to power the body (which in the e30 body is done by a small wiring attached the fuse box)

First pic does go to intake elbow. Second pic is either in the harness or from your fuse box. If from your fuse box don't be like me and forget to hook them up to the 12v connector Smoke will come out of wiring when you turn the key.
